Be like Dinosaur Jr!  Go GREEN as an ECO EDUCATOR at Wicker Park Fest.

Bright Beat would like to thank all of those who made this year’s sustainability efforts a success at Green Music Fest.   Festival attendees were engaged in the act of waste diversion (recycling or composting instead of trashing their beer cups, food containers, etc.) AND educated on the benefits of doing so, thanks to our team of Eco Educators & Eco Captains… AND WE’RE READY TO DO IT AGAIN!

Chicago’s Wicker Park Fest is scaling up those responsible festival production elements.  Join us in modeling the new standard for sustainable city festivals!

We are looking for reliable and fun individuals to staff the Eco Stations, educate attendees and enjoy the lively atmosphere!  Participants will be trained, geared up, and paid $50 per shift, while receiving hands-on experience in event recycling, public engagement and community outreach.

WICKER PARK FEST: July 27 – 28, 2013, 2 shifts per day.

Location: Milwaukee Ave, at Wolcott Ave (conveniently located near Damen Blue Line stop and many CTA bus stops)

If interested, email: eco@brightbeat.com ASAP for an application.

Pro-Diversity Policy: Bright Beat is an equal opportunity employer that does not discriminate against anyone based on race, color, national origin, religion, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability or veteran status.

Youth are welcome to apply for early shift. Work permits or employment certificates from your local school must be provided at the time of application for 14 and 15 year olds (820 ILCS 205/9-12).
