As facilitator of the Chicago Sustainability Task Force, Bright Beat enjoys collaborating with some of Chicago’s largest facilities, events and leaders to move sustainability forward in the region. On September 30th, O’Hare Airport hosted our first Sustainability Stakeholders Forum. Over 50 diverse members and their stakeholders convened for a meaningful discussion on shared challenges, best practices and solutions while organically connecting and brainstorming with current and potential partners. We also rolled out the newly drafted Chicago Sustainability Guidelines and Chicago Sustainability Task Force website. Check ‘em out and let us know if you have any questions on implementation, or would like more information on how to get involved.
- “I applaud the things you have done as well as what you are trying to accomplish, and feel a much more profound impact could be made in what we do if every venue had a position such as yours. Again, thanks for helping the Black Eyed Peas execute their environmental initiatives.”
- Jim Beek, Tour Greening Manager Black Eyed Peas
“With the assistance of Stephanie Katsaros and Bright Beat, Allstate Arena has experienced significant savings in waste hauling expenses, we received a valuable energy efficiency grant, sold a green sponsorship and have been recognized in the trades and local media for our "Green for a Reason" campaign. I would recommend Bright Beat's services to any facility or event looking to improve their efficiency, save money and gain recognition in the concert community and beyond.”
- Pat Nagle, General Manager
